We are looking to appoint to the following post from January 2024:
Teacher of English
Teachers’ Pay Range (currently £28,000 – £43,685 p.a. pro-rota)
(1.0 FTE/Temporary Maternity Leave cover)
A well-qualified and innovative Teacher of English is required to join a successful and enthusiastic department. The candidate should be well motivated and energetic with a willingness to contribute to the development of the subject, the quality of teaching and the pastoral life within Notre High Dame School. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across KS3 and KS4. Experience of delivering KS3 literacy interventions and/or primary experience would be looked on favourably. Experience of teaching KS5 English Language would also be an advantage.
We have a well-established and thriving English department of 14 teachers including 7 part-time members of staff. The department is run by two joint Heads of Department, supported by a Literacy Development Lead.
