Family Liaison & Attendance Officer
Full time for 37 hours per week over 39 weeks per year
(4 days per week would be considered)

Grade 4, Scale Points 7 – 11 (£22,369 to £24,054) pro rata
Actual salary for 5 days per week (with no continuous service)
£19,155 – £20,598

Required from September 2023

All Saints is a highly successful, oversubscribed, 11-18 Catholic Voluntary Academy within the St Clare CMAT.  The last OFSTED inspection in April 2018 judged the school to be Good. As a wholly inclusive school community we share a clear and ambitious vision for high quality education for all.  Staff at all career stages are supported to access innovative and research led CPD and there is a culture of continuous development.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and tenacious Attendance and Family Liaison Officer who will lead on our work on improving attendance across Years 7 to 13.  The postholder will work as part of the Student Support Team focusing on maximising the attendance of students across the school.  The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting students so that they attend school regularly.  This post incudes liaising with families and a range of external agencies to support the students in our care and ensuring that all statutory protocols around attendance are followed.

This is a key role in the school, focusing on student attendance and the safeguarding of young people. The appointed person will be part of a small team; they should have good interpersonal skills, be able to work accurately and be computer literate (training will be given on the school’s software).

All Saints is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.  We expect all staff to share this commitment and to undergo appropriate checks, including enhanced DBS checks.

We value our diverse workforce and aim to work together to make the most of our differences.  We welcome applications from everyone.  Under the Disability Confident Scheme disabled applicants who meet the essential criteria of this job are guaranteed an interview.

A Catholic Education Service application form, supplementary forms and further details are available on the school website: www.allsaints.sheffield.sch.uk/vacancies.  Please return your application form, consent to obtain references form and recruitment monitoring form (optional) to Jo Thorpe, PA to the Headteacher, by email to j.thorpe@allsaints.sheffield.sch.uk or by post to the school address.  Applications on any other form and CVs will not be considered.
