The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe environment for our staff and children, and is required to develop strong working relationships with the Office team, children, staff, parents, local residents, contractors and visitors to school.

This is a varied and exciting opportunity which is incredibly rewarding, you will be expected to have a genuine passion for supporting pupils and staff to achieve their very best.

The role will include maintaining and reporting pupil data, especially attendance and attainment, and managing the booking and payment of school meals. In addition, there will be some finance tasks, for example placing orders for goods and services; following on from that, receiving and accounting for deliveries and managing stock levels and the availability of resources, in order to support classroom staff.

The post holder will be responsible for managing the busy reception, under the direction and support of senior colleagues.

The successful candidate will be conscientious, flexible, energetic and hard working, able to work on your own initiative. Previous experience of working in a school office would be an advantage.

The Governors of St Catherine’s Catholic Primary School (Hallam) are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
