We are looking to appoint to the following post:

Teacher of English
Teachers’ Pay Range (currently £25,714 – £41,604 p.a. pro-rota)
(0.4 FTE/Temporary Maternity Leave cover – initially until 31st August 2023)

Our preferred start date is 1st January 2023, however we can be flexible for a start date between 1st January 2023 and 1st February 2023.

A well-qualified and innovative Teacher of English is required to join a successful and enthusiastic department. The candidate should be well motivated and energetic with a willingness to contribute to the development of the subject, the quality of teaching and the pastoral life within Notre High Dame School. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across KS3 and KS4. Experience of delivering KS3 literacy interventions and/or primary experience would be looked on favourably.

We have a well-established and thriving English department of 14 teachers including 8 part-time members of staff. The department is run by two joint Heads of Department, supported by a member of staff leading on Accelerated Reader and a temporary Literacy Development Lead.
