St Clare Catholic Multi Academy Trust formed in September 2022 with 13 schools in Sheffield, Doncaster and Barnsley. During the next 18 months the CMAT is expected to TUPE in another 12 schools.

These posts will join the HR Manager in forming a new team to establish, develop and maintain an effective and pro-active HR service to the Trusts stakeholders.

The team will work in an agile way combining school site attendance and working from home with the opportunity to work from the Pastoral Centre where central team colleagues are based.

The Trust employs c950 staff and payroll services are provided in-house. You will be joining during an exciting period of growth and HR service development that will include the procurement of a new integrated HR and payroll system and the opportunity to shape HR provision to the Trust’s schools.

Each Advisor will be the point of contact for a designated group of schools and will coach, guide, and advise Head teachers and their Senior Leadership teams on all aspects of the employee life cycle.

You will be an experienced HR Advisor competent at managing case work, advising pragmatic solutions to meet business need and advising on national terms and conditions of employment.

An understanding of safeguarding and an enjoyment of using HRIS to produce meaningful workforce data and KPIs to inform business decisions is essential. Experience within the educational sector will be advantageous.

Personal development is available for attaining level 5 CIPD and continuing professional development is encouraged via projects, exposure to new HR activities, online learning, and seminar attendance.
