Curriculum Lead for Computing

MPR / UPR and TLR 2a

Required from
24 April 2023 or 1 September 2023

All Saints is a highly successful, oversubscribed, 11-18 Catholic Voluntary Academy with 1439 students on roll, including 409 in the sixth form.  The last OFSTED inspection in April 2018 judged the school to be Good.  The school is co-located with an Outstanding maintained special school.

The Governors wish to appoint a suitably experienced and enthusiastic teacher to lead the Computing department. The successful applicant will be responsible for the curriculum intent and the implementation of schemes of learning for all students at Key Stage 3-5.  They will work with colleagues to further review and develop existing schemes in line with the school’s priority areas.  Ambitious new programmes of study will be developed to inspire and engage all learners, including those who are struggling to keep up.  Quality assurance is an integral part of the role including leading on book looks, lesson drop ins, student voice and data reviews. The Curriculum Leader will take responsibility for all stages of planning for assessment, from preparation in lessons through to moderation in department meetings.

All Saints is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.  We expect all staff to share this commitment and to undergo appropriate checks, including enhanced DBS checks.

We are committed to fairness and social justice and welcome applications from everyone. We value our diverse workforce and aim to work together to make the most of our differences. Under the Disability Confident Scheme, disabled applicants, who meet the essential criteria of this job, are guaranteed an interview.

A Catholic Education Service application form, supplementary forms and further details are available on the school website: www.allsaints.sheffield.sch.uk/vacancies.  Please return your application form, consent to obtain references form and recruitment monitoring form (optional) to Jo Thorpe, PA to the Headteacher, by email to j.thorpe@allsaints.sheffield.sch.uk or by post to the school address.  Applications on any other form and CVs will not be considered.
